First Baptist Church of Glendarden is giving away food for Thanksgiving again this year.  See information below:

When does registration begin? ~ Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 until they reach our maximum number or Friday, Nov.  8, 2013.

How do I register for a Thanksgiving basket? Call the church at 301-773-3600 (after 10am). After, you will receive an auto reply with additional information on the next step. 

When can I pick up my basket? ~Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. 

 Where do I pick up my basket? ~ 403 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785.

Saturdays at 9:30 & 11 AM • Helen Hayes Gallery • Free Admission • Tickets Required: first come-first seated • Tickets distributed 1/2 hour prior to performance • One ticket per person in line • Food and drink are not allowed

The performances are best appreciated by children four years and older.

Montessori Prenatal/Infant Parenting and Play Group

MONTESSORI BEGINNINGS
Montessori Beginnings provides Montessori learning and support
for families with children who are prenatal through age
3. Parents and caregivers with their children are welcome to
participate. Classes are led by certified Montessori teacher and
yoga instructor Allison Manuel and will be held at Unity Woods
Yoga Studio, 2639 Connecticut Ave NW #102 Washington, DC
20008, unless otherwise noted. To sign up for a class, please
contact Allison at: a.manuel@aidanschool.org. All classes are
FREE to community members and Aidan families. Classes without
a 3 person minimum are subject to cancellation.

Designed to bring a group of parents with infants together allowing the infant to explore
a prepared environment designed specificallytomeet the developmental needs of the
infant child, while parents practice supportive, mindful observation and interaction.The
infant-oriented environment allows the child to have a wide range of social and physical
experiences in an environment designed to stimulate their emerging independence,
encouraging babies to become attentive, active, and exploring individuals through
Montessori materials (toys).  Come and play with us in a Montessori infant environment!
(Sessions fill up quickly. Maximum 8 families for each session.)
